Shinmen Takezo is destined to become the legendary sword-saint, Miyamoto Musashi--perhaps the most renowned samurai of all time. Vagabond is a historical manga by Takehiko Inoue, adapted from the fictionalized accounts by Eiji Yoshikawa of the samurai Miyamoto Musashi (1584–1645).
