Zone-Anime - Download anything anime related

Want to help this site ? Or Just want to upload anime for everyone because you've been leaching all the time :P ? Well this is a guide on how to upload.

We at Zone-Anime want to encourage people to upload anime, just uploading 1 series is a HUGE ammount of help !

Ok so how to upload your anime !

Please make sure you don't upload these anime, we can't add them for legal reasons.

Before I get to that, you must think about the following thing.

Do you want to upload a small file that retains most of its quality (Realmedia), or do you want to upload a AVI / MKV file, exactly how the fansubbers gave it ! 

Please note that Realmedia is more popular, due to the fact most people don't have fast connections, so they need realmedia files.

Disadvantages / Advantages of Realmedia

• Small file, that retains good quality, meaning uploading it is faster
• You are encoding it, meaning you can choose the quality, Realmedia files can retain AVI HQ quality and be smaller in size.
• Takes time to encode, converters may not work well. 
  

Disadvantages / Advantages of AVI / MKV

• Original format that anime is distrubuted it
• No need to re-encode it
• The file is about 150-200 mb, this can take a long time if your connection isn't very good. 

Ok, well if you want to upload realmedia, here's a link to a converter : http://www...nsonmedia.com/freetrial/ [30 day free trial] If your original file was MKV, then you can't encode it into Realmedia.  

Ok so now you've decided which format you want ! ! Now it's time to start uploading ! If possible put [www.zone-anime.com] in the filename, this will help other people find this site and also your links will be put at the top of a page if we have other mirrors to the anime you are uploading. 

 Well now you have to choose a free server to upload to ! 

There are loads of free servers, but we reccomend these ones because they are better than the rest :P

If your connection is 30kb/s or less , use these free hosters, as the max uploading speed on them is around 35kb/s

• http://www.sharebee.com/
• http://www.megaupload.com [Uploading using their client, means you can pause your upload and upload the rest later on, that's extremely useful]

If your uploading speed is more than 35kb/s then use :

• http://www.megaupload.com [Upload using the client allows for faster uploading speeds]
• http://www.rapidshare.com [Only for Realmedia stuff, or you have to use WinRAR to put big AVI files into parts]

Well there are lots of other free hosters but we reccomend these ones. If you are going to use MegaUpload, we reccomend you get a free account, so your files won't get deleted if they are not downloaded for a certain ammount of time, it also gives you many advantages. In your account settings, you'll see a option "FileTag", please use this filetag if you are uploading on MegaUpload

Well ones you've uploaded you'll get a "link" and just post that on the Zone-Anime forum and it will be added to the site ![Link] Yup, just like that you've made a huge contribution to the anime community. If you make frequent uploads, your name will be added to the Zone-Anime staff list and you'll get many advantages ;)  Well we look forward to seeing your uploads soon ! 

• Please note that there are advantages of uploading, especially to sites like MegaUpload, as when someone downloads your file, you get "MegaUpload points" --> You must have a free megaupload account for this. When someone downloads your file you get some points. After a certain ammount of points you can get free PREMIUM accounts.
